Sivota, in the Prefecture of Thesprotia, is an exceptionally beautiful area and one of the most popular destinations in recent years, as the completion of major road projects has facilitated access for all. The beaches of Sivota remind something of Caribbean having a lot of greenery in combination with the intense blue of the sea. The lacy coastline combined with small islands very close to the coast creates a heavenly landscape with small coves forming beautiful beaches. The beaches of Sivota are diverse and will satisfy even the most demanding visitor.

In 433 BC during the Peloponnesian war, the naval battle of Sivota took place in this area. During the Ottoman occupation the settlement took the name "Mourtos", that was the name of a dignitary that used to tax all commercial ships were passing by Sivota. This name was kept until 1959 when the original name was brought back again. Sivota -like the rest of Thesprotia region- became part of the Greek state again after the Balkan Wars of 1912 – 1913. Sivota has over 3.000 inhabitants and the capital of the municipality is called "Plataria".

The hotel's strategic location serves as the perfect base for those wishing to explore the surrounding area and visit the picturesque Syvota Riviera as well as numerous remarkable archaeological sites.
